Eagle Scout Randy Hertle .....

Randy Hertle is the son of Carl and Janice Hertle of Elizabeth and he made Eagle Scout in 1973. Randy was the troop's third Eagle Scout and the only boy to earn the coveted rank during the decade of the 1970's. The summer after he earned his Eagle Scout rank, Randy made a trip to the Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico. The picture shown below was cropped from a group photo taken on that 1974 Philmont expedition. The group photo is shown on this web site under the "Old Photos" section.

As an adult, Randy has two sons and has been active in both Pack 47 and Troop 47. He has served as Den Leader and also Cubmaster.
