This photo shows Troop 47 camping along the Ohio River at a camporee in May of 1989. Of course it rained. The boys have their gear spread out trying to dry out in this photo. Scouts camp rain or shine and make the most of every outing. The troop has camped during thunderstorms, flash floods, tornados, ice storms, snow and at least one tropical storm (Dennis - 2004). Really.
