This photo shows several members of Troop 47 hiking along the banks of the Ohio River below Laconia, IN in 1972. In this photo, scoutleader Jim Johnson has a group of boys along the river's edge. That is boy scout Mark Hertle in the red & white toboggan. As an adult, Mark went on to serve as a Cub Scout Den Leader, Cubmaster, and Asst. Scoutmaster with his own two sons.
